Earn Bonus Money
I do make a few bucks from running this blog. It’s not nearly enough to live on but it does give me a little extra money for bonus items like a new harddrive or a night out with my wife. To be honest, I get a kick out of it too. It’s fun building the site and seeing the visitors grow.
I’ll share with you some of the ways I pad my pocket and give you a run down on how they work, how they pay, etc. Now, don’t take me for a saint (yeah.. as if you could anyway), if you decide to participate in any of these, I’ll typically benefit too. Some give me a referal bonus, some a one time “finder’s” fee.
SURVEYS
There are a ton of survey sites out there that pay you for you opinion and I’ve tried alot of them, so here are the best ones.
Opinion Outpost: This has got to be the absolute best survey site ever. The minimum earnings for one of their surveys is $1.50 but it’s not suprising to see surveys paying $3.00, $4.00 or more. They also send typically 4 or 5 surveys a day too so if you hit it right, you can make a killing! Another awesome thing about Opinion Outpost is that they offer instant Amazon Gift Certificates or a check via snail mail that takes approximately 2 weeks to receive. SurveySavvy:: Another great survey site, but needs to send out more invites. They pay very well for their surveys though which offsets this. I have seen surveys earnings range from $1.00 up to $60.00 for an interactive website survey that lasted an hour. Most though are around the $2.00 or $3.00 mark. They pay via personal check. Toluna: A survey site with a community. I don’t bother with the community, but offer alot of paid surveys daily. They also offer alot of surveys for a sweepstakes entry which I don’t bother to do. survey earnings can range anywhere from $0.30 to $3.00 and an occasional $20.00 invite. Minimum payout is $20 via personal check or PayPal.
MySurvey: Not bad but needs to send out more surveys more often. They dole out points that covert to money. Basically 1pt = $0.01. They pay $0.05 to $0.10 per failed survey and usually a couple of dollars per survey completed. You can redeem points for merchandise that range from gift cards to kitchen utensils to portable DVD players.. or just opt for a personal check. Here’s a shot of my earnings with MySurvey here. Global Opinions: Used to be a great survey site and I could earn about $50.00 every month but they’ve since reduced their earnings per survey. All money is green though, so they are still a site I actively participate in. Surveys are typically worth $1.75 and aren’t more than $2.25. EPoll: I don’t get too many invites from them, but they are typically TV oriented and kind of fun. They reward 500 points per survey which is worth about $0.75. They pay via gift cards or through PayPal. Join EPolls here.
